The Hand of Ice is one of our family’s favorite trick for trick-or-treaters. These hand-shaped floating ice cubes are sure to put some punch into your party!

Wash and rinse the inside of a latex glove (available at any drugstore). Fill it with fresh water and tie a knot in the wrist as if it were a water balloon. Place in the freezer and leave it until it’s entirely frozen.

Once frozen, cut the latex off the ice hand with scissors or a razor blade. Be especially gentle with the hand’s fingers. Use one or more Hands of Ice to chill your Halloween punch and your guests!

Note - You can add food coloring to the water to create a red, ‘bloody’ hand or an orange Halloween-colored hand.
